Residential case study | St Kilda House
A striking interior and neutral colour palette support the play of light at different times of day and articulate the threshold between spaces. A contemporary timber slatted feature brings a sophisticated and dramatic touch to a formerly tired interior, making it effortlessly modern and sleek.
The facade of this old Victorian mansion was restored and revived in the original render from the 1890s. Behind the existing facade, the old build suffered numerous renovations and was demolished to be replaced with a light filled interior.
An elegant dining room and living area, with kitchen, are joined by a central hall. The hall is enlivened by a spiral staircase to the bedrooms above and allows ease of flow from room to room.
